How To Connect My PS3 Controller to My Windows 10 PC

So I brought a PS3 Controller 3 days ago alongside the wire for it. I tried to plug in my PS3 Controller into my Laptop but in my Control Panel. there is no "PLAYSTATION3 CONTROLLER" recognized. but my controller is Charging? I want to do this wireless but I know what to do 1st—wired connection 1st before anything wireless.

I'm still trying to fix this. Windows 10 can't pick up anything even my Windows 8.1 Laptop can't pick up anything.

My Drivers Are updated already via 3rd-Party apps Drivers Updater, even My Windows 10 is up-to-date.

Can someone help me here? Because I can't return this controller anymore :(

    I am Jaspreet Singh.
    Windows 10 doesnot directly support dualshock 3. You need to follow a few additional steps and use third party applications.

    Since two devices are not detecting the controller it is most likely an issue with the controller. Have you tested the controller itself using a ps?

    Yes i did it. Even i plug it to my another laptop that runs Windows 8.1. it doesn't work. This time i did plug the controller 1st before run the program. Well it doesn't work. Is this the Windows problem or My Wired problem?

    Was Scp toolkit installed and driver loaded before you checked for the controller detection? Since this is an important step. Windows will not directly install the driver for the controller.

    I already tried oit usinga wired connection. What i meant to say that Windows doesn't Recognize my PS3 Controller. Like it wasn't show anything. Even Xbox360 Recognize or any controller name isn't show in Control Panel. The website didn't help me because i did it already before i get the controller. It's charging but not recognizing it.
