Is there some kind of quick shortcut to insert commonly used text/phrases?

I am a long time Mac user but use a Windows computer for work. One thing I love about my Mac is that I've been able to add text shortcuts into my autocorrect dictionary. For example, I have it set to that when I type "mye" it 'corrects' it to type out my whole email address. This applies globally, system-wide (not dependent on a particular program) as well as all my other Apple devices.

I am wondering if there is a similar workaround in windows. I type a lot of the same phrases in documents I create for work, and would like to be able to press a few keys and have that saved phrase be inserted, regardless of what program I'm in. Does there exist some kind of solution in Windows?

Hi Jose, thank you for your answer.

Unfortunately, this is not quite the right solution for me. I want to be able to call up commonly-used phrases without having copied them recently. For example, my email address, my full name, address, etc. Text blocks like that, that are long to type out.

Hi Patrick, my name is Jose, a Windows user like you. I'll be glad to help you today.

AS a workaround you can use Clipboard history. To enable it, please press Windows key and V key together. A window for clipboard will be displayed. Select Turn on to enable it. Now every copied phrase will be listed here. To use one of those phrases, just click on it.

If you need anything else, please let me know.
