My computer keeps restarting and sometimes will work for a little while. Right now it says "It looks like windows didn't load correctly" can I make a recovery disc or what should I try?

    Hi ElleMorrison.

    I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Use the Recovery Environment to repair the system.

    Use the Start-up Repair.

    1. Select "See advanced repair options";
    2. On the Choose an option screen, select "Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Start-up Repair".

    If it persists, use System Restore to get Windows to the point where it was working.

    1. Select "See advanced repair options";
    2. On the Choose an option screen, select "Troubleshoot > Advanced options > System Restore" and follow the onscreen instructions.

    I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions.

    The computer Remembers your password that you set. on the computer at that time. if you used a pin you can try that as the password or look for your saved passwords on your devices for. the old password. I don't think that you can lock yourself out never tried it tho. Sometimes windows just need to reboot again to start properly. have you tried to continue to boot into windows.

    Yes, I've rebooted the computer quite a few times. I can sign in with the pin, but when I try to use the recovery - it wants my password. UGH

    Thank you for your help. I am at the start-up repair and it is asking me for my MS password, I did not know it, so I changed it on another computer and it won't accept the new password on the old computer. Any ideas? I could not change usernames either.
