I'm trying to play minecraft on my Hp laptop running Windows 10 and noticed that while I was moving with wasd I could not use my trackpad to move my camera (however if I plugged in a mouse it worked no bother) So I disabled palmcheck using the registry editor and restarted my laptop many times. However, I still can not move my trackpad while pressing any letter keys. I have been trying to fix this all day and to no avail so I would greatly thankful if you could help me figure out what might be wrong here. Thank you.

Select "Settings" on this screen and you should find a similar setting under this menu
Hi Eoghan,
Would you be able to try the following three solutions and let me know if this helps resolve the issue?
1st:
Most likely caused by the configuration of your touch pad.
On a synaptics touch pad it's in the Properties -> Pointing -> Sensitivity -> PalmCheck
On a Dell touchpad it's in the Properties -> Sensitivity -> TouchGuard
These features basically disable the touch pad while you are using the keyboard.
2nd:
Go to your mouse properties. Then click hardware settings. Click on the mouse hardware and click "Settings." After a window pops up click the "Advance" tab. Then on the top where it says Palm Track. Move the curser from where ever it is down towards minimum. Make sure it's all the way down to "0". Hope this helps.
3rd:
Hit the start button, type mouse in the search bar then click on the option that says mouse. Then click on the bar on top that says Dell touch pad or Synaptic touch pad, after that click on the mouse pad with the orange arrow pointing to it. Click on touch pad settings then scroll down until you see the Touch check bar, then find the box that says enable and uncheck it, then hit ok. After completing these steps the issue should not continue.

Priyesh
Hi Eoghan,
I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.
You need to disable the "disable trackpad while typing" feature on the trackpad settings. You can find it on Settings > Devices > Mouse > Additional Mouse options
you should see a menu similar to this one (it varies from device to device)
