Windows security in W10 is bugging out. Can someone help me fix this issue?

Microsoft defender gives off a notification that a threat was detected and when I click on it it says no threats found. The threat appears for like a millisecond only.

Thanks for your feedback. Please using File Explorer go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft, then open Windows Defender a prompt asking for permission elevation to access this folder will appears. Please confirm it then access

Scans\History\Service folder. Next right click on DetectionHistory and select Delete. Finally go to Defender and run a quick scan.

This works OK to clear the Detection History but before doing that ensure that the Virus Definitions is Updated to (Version 1.373.1567.0) or later
