Is everything working OK now? I hope you wiped the drive first.
Not able to boot windows from usb
Hello everyone
I dual booted (Ubuntu 22.04 and windows 10) my Dell latitude pc. Then i decided to single boot it(only windows os). I deleted the linux partition using diskmgmt.msc but not removed GRUB. Then i restarted my pc , it displays unknown filesystem and entering grub rescue. I tried ls command in rescue mode but none of the listed partition has ext file.
Then i poweroff it and plug the USB flash drive booted with windows 10, then i click repair my pc, then started file restore but inbetween i poweroff the pc because it took 1 hour already to file restoration.
After that I again power on my pc to boot from flash drive but it displays only blue screen with mouse pointer only. Now i don't getting any option to install or repair my pc. Please help me as soon as possible as I have to work from home.

2022-09-04T00:21:23+00:00 Hello. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.
Here's how to try to repair Windows after removing Linux bootloader:

If that doesn't work or it persists to not want to boot media, then create it again but this time use only Media Creation Tool following the steps toward the bottom of the download page here in the section "Using the tool to create installation media:" https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/software-downlo...
Enter BIOS Setup to reset to defaults. Make sure Windows drive remains set first to boot, or if UEFI Windows Boot Loader.
Then try all the fixes in the best tutorials above until on works..
If you need to reinstall Windows wipe all partitions off the drive, and/or wipe with Diskpart Clean Command to clear GRUB code from boot sector and partition table, do this gold standard Clean Install that compiles the best possible Install of Windows which will stay that way as long as you stick with the tools and methods given, has zero reported problems, and is better than any amount of money could buy: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki....
If you can get rid of GRUB and notice the System Reserved partition is gone here's how to manually create it:
https://www.tenforums.com/installation-upgrade/...
For MBR Legacy installs you can also mark C active and run Startup Repair 3x times:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/71432-part...

Report back results for each step so I know what else to suggest.
Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.

I understand that you would like to remove the dual boot from your computer.
Follow the procedure below to remove the dual boot.
You will have to download the media creation tool on another device and then boot it from the Pen Drive or DVD and restore the current device.
Media creation tool

After downloading the application, running and completing the steps, follow the next procedure.
Boot with the Pen Drive or DVD as created above.
When the installation window appears, click Repair your computer.
Click Troubleshooting.
Command prompt;
Run the command at the command prompt, paste it and press Enter:
bootsect /nt60 all /force /mbr
After that, close the command prompt and restart the computer and verify that the boot has been restored.
I await news.
