Bunch of issues on a new latop with Windows 10 right out of the box

My other Win10 PC is trying to crash so I bought a laptop backup for now and it is just now 1 week old and from Day 1 was riddled with issues right out of the box, all appearing to be related to MS and Windows. I'm dealing with serious health issues right now and am beyond stressed and am not in the right mind to keep trying to troubleshoot this on my own. I'm getting nowhere and hopefully somebody here has some ideas.

Issue #1: AlienWare Command Center won't work out of the box. It came installed with the laptop and hasn't worked from the start. Upon opening I get a Windows notification pop up stating it's loading and will take 30sec or more. Within that time frame the security pop up from Windows comes up asking if I want to allow it to make changes, I say Yes, and nothing happens. It's sat for up to 30 minutes and there's just an infinite spinning loading circle. I can't find regular log files for this program however an error comes up at Windows startup in Event Viewer for it which I'll include below. The error seems to happen when the computer boots, not when the program is opened. I've been all over Dell (laptop & program brand) and have found people with similar issues all stating to uninstall and reinstall. THat created a world of new issues and it took days to get the AWCC back on here again, same issue as it had before though. I also found a suggestion to create a new profile on the computer and attempt from there. I get the same error in Event Viewer and the same loading circle but the program behind the circle shows a spot for Thermal & Overclock but never fills in and the loading circle issue is still there. Program is not timed out and no issues showing in Task Manager so it's not froze, just not responding. My security software was already checked and it is not the cause of the issues either. Again, Day 1 issue so there's no much of anything except what came with this computer on here still anyway.

Issue #2: No idea what this one is but this error in Event Viewer comes up at startup each time as well from Day 1. Tried some searches and a result that lead me here actually the people said to post in another part of the MS site because this forum deals with 'home' computers and not business. Well, this is a home computer and the error was there Day 1.

Issue #3: Again, no idea what this is about in general but I recognize the name "Killer" in the error as there is a program that came preinstalled called "Killer Intelligence Center" and it appeared to be a bandwidth monitor or somethign perhaps? Also broken and appeared to not be doing anything either from Day 1.

Any ideas? I know I have other issues on here right out of the box but at least one may be getting fixed if Dell ever releases their update for it. The above I can't find information on anywhere online though other than AWCC and as I said, the solutions I found for the same issue did not solve mine. Dell has not responded to the support request about it still and it honestly is hinting at an MS issue and not Dell because it's referencing kernalbase.dll.

As a side note this is brand new and I'm on highly metered bandwidth where I live. I am not willing to reinstall Windows from scratch as 43% of my month's bandwidth is already gone dealing with these issues. I am not willing to upgrade to Windows 11 because I despise the designs I've seen and again, not doing it on my bandwidth. I've already reinstalled AWCC and another program far too many times with no results so I'm not interested in redownloading software again and wasting further bandwidth when I'm not even half way through my billing month yet I"m nearly half way through my usage. Unlike everybody else my service isn't slowed, it's shut down, so going over isn't an option and they don't offer packages to buy more (if they did they'd cost another arm and a leg anyway). A file note. Please do not talk to me as if I know nothing of computers. I'm no expert but I have over 30yrs of experience. My brain just can't deal with this many issues right now and I could use some outside eyes so I don't go out of my mind fighting with this laptop.

Laptop stats:

Dell G15 5515 Ryzen 7 5800H, Radeon Graphics, 3.20 GHz

32GB RAM

Win 10 Home 21H2, 19044.2006, Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0

GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU with 4GB RAM

Again, literally 1 week old as of today and arrived with these issues right out of the box.

To make it 100% clear I was rude to you because of you. You came in telling me what to delete, how to run MY PC and trying to brag about awards as your very first line you posted like that matters.

Yeah, these should be simple fixes and my brain is struggling as I stated due to far too many other issues going on. No I'm not sending it in, I need a PC here to work from home on and these fixes are easily enough done by myself if somebody could provide me with a point to start at. I said so in the first post, I need another set of eyes to look at the errors, I dont' need somebody telling me what I should and shouldnt' have on my PC. Yoru the one treating me poorly to begin with. You didnt' read half my initial post and I had to constantly repeat far too many things I already noted. I'm no beginner, I stated that. I dont' want to be talked to or treated like one and I have no patience for being told what to do with MY PC and what I should and should not be running on it. That's how you came in. Look at it through my eyes.

I'd rather be helped by somebody else who knows what they are doing and is not opinionated and feels they have to brag about their 10yrs worth of digital awards. I can brag to. I had to learn to maintain and troubleshoot computers at 10yrs old because my dad was too busy with work and going back to school so he taught me the basics as he learned it at school and I have been doing this for 30 years as I stated. I've maintained the software and hardware going back 30 years, I've built several of our own PCs in the past. I'm not an idiot as I stated. I came here because as you can clearly see in the information I posted originally the first issue may be a Dell program but the issue is caused by a Windows DLL. If you look at the 2nd issue, again, Microsoft related. You are too busy telling me what is good for MY computer you refuse to do any real support. If somebody else is willing to come in and actually read the message and note the errors and offer real advice and not what programs they think I should and should not be using then great, I'll listen to them. I'm done with you. Again I state I'm dealing with serious health issues, I don't have the patience or state of mind to deal with you further.

    Greg,

Everything is all fully up to date already besides some stray Dell software because the Update service is broken (waiting on a fix apparently) and the AWCC. Everything else has been updated. I might add that the WIndows Updates were riddled with issues for the first several days as well and refused to work properly.

As far as I have read up AWCC is not bloatware and I want it to work, therefore my Issue #1 post about it. If I didn't want it there I would be deleted it and not bothered. The same with my AV. As I said, I have over 30yrs of experience with computers and why would I ever trust MS with my AV or Firewall security? No thanks, I'll keep my software where it is. I trust them over MS after the amount of issues I've had with MS computers (and game consoles) going back to about '95.

Again, I have ALL updates already, thus my nearly 50% bandwidth usage already wasted. This includes Windows Updates & MS Store updates (you want to talk about bloatware? I want that stupid YourPHone garbage off and my other PCs here but MS figures people actually want it and refuse to allow you to remove that bloatware).

Also, I don't have a 1 year warranty thanks to the idiot that sold the computer on Amazon. I have a 2 month warranty and yet the post office is over 30 miles away and as I stated I'm dealing with serious health issues and no thanks to people around the world I can't risk going out around other people with a pandemic going on while I'm dealing with this, so no returns for me.

Please note again, I stated I'm no beginner. Day 1 after setup was the updates (and dealing with MS's poorly written software). This is not my first rodeo. I want help with the issues I listed, not help learning to do things I already said I know how to do and not others opinions of what software I should and should not be using. I have been dealing with these health issues for far too long and my brain can't deal with a crashing computer, crashing monitor, crashing game console (guess, MS again) along with all the other issues I'm dealing with at this time. Just looking for information about the errors above and how to FIX them, not delete them based on your opinion of the software. I'll make up the choice for myself after they are working and see if they are worth using for me.

As a side note I've already gone through and disabled all the bloatware like the Cortana garbage and half the other MS junk they put on here that tries to track or steal private information from you. Again... Day 1 basic steps for out of the box computer setup.

Hi Atryeu. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

If any steps cannot be performed normally then try them in 1) Safe Mode with Networking (so you have internet) or 2) Safe Mode, accessed by one of the illustrated steps in this guide: https://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-boot-saf.... If so then update your drivers and try these troubleshooting steps from Safe Mode along with the other numbered steps I give:

    https://www.pcmag.com/news/354269/how-to-use-sa...

    https://www.howtogeek.com/164876/how-to-use-saf...

You will need to use your password to get into Safe Mode as a PIN is not accepted.

If this is not enough I will help you do repairs from the WinRE Repair Mode or bootable media: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294-advanc...

The WinRE tools needed are Command prompt to run commands in the steps I give, System Restore to get back before the problem, Uninstall Updates to a point before this started, Startup Repair, Reset or others I'll give if necessary.

    1. In Settings > Apps > Apps & Features uninstall Alienware Command Center, Killer driver bloatware and any preinstalled anti-virus like Norton or McAfee which bloat the system, cause issues and are not needed.
    2. Turn off all startup freeloaders from starting with Windows as they cause issues and are not needed.. This is covered in Step 4 of this checklist: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for....

The only ones needed are Defender tray icon, OneDrive if you use it, and Dell Update which will keep your drivers and BIOS updated. Restart PC.

    1. Expedite all WIndows Updates from Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates . Install all including Optional, watch for prompt for Restart, then go back to check again until no more are offered.

Likewise go into MS Store app, choose My Library, then Get Updates and expedite them all. There may be a queue installing that is slowing everything down. Go through the downloading queue and X out any you don't want in the first place, expedite the rest. Restart Windows.

    1. Go over Windows using this checklist to make sure the install is set up correctly, optimized for best performance, and any needed repairs get done: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account to replace yours which may be corrupted. Then if necessary continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.

    1. Go into Start Menu and open Dell Update (or Dell Support Assist) and expedite installing all the latest drivers and BIOS. Once completed have it check the hardware:

    https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/prod...

    https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000181...

    1. If after all that there are still problems do a Repair Install which reinstalls Windows while saving your files and apps in place, brings it up to the latest version by the most stable method, takes about an hour and resolves most problems: https://www.tomshardware.com/how-to/fix-windows...

Keep in mind you also have a one year manufacturer's support, repair and replacement warranty that comes with any hardware so if problems persist you can call on the PC manufacturer's Support to fix or replace it, making sure it gets done soon enough so you can ensure the repairs work in time for the warranty expiration, or extend it. The PC may also still be under Store return policy, I would contact the manager who will often try to help.

Report back results for each step so I know what else to suggest.

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.
