A lot of issues with my new pc (long post).

Hi, i´ve been going through a lot of problems with my new pcthis is gonna be a long post since im with all of this since 2 weeks

First of all, my pc:

AMD Ryzen 5 5600g

8x2 GB RAM 3200 mhz kingston

PS evga 600w 80+ bronze

SSD kingston 240gb

Motherboard ASUS PRIME B450M-A II

I´m gonna say everything chronologically

The first 3 days worked perfectly, no issues at all, i turned on the D.O.C.P to put my ram to work on 3200 mhz as it should be since the beginning and no problem at all,

the same 3th day using, AMD software (instaled on day one) got an update, and after that, no problems that day.

But then the next day in the morning windows didn´t load, and sent me to recovery options directly, i tried to restart but it was not working, so i turned off the pc and tried again, but this time worked fine, windows load as usual.

After a while using my pc playing a game, AMD software sent me a message that "We noticed that a driver on your system times out" and my game crashes. So i restart the pc and the same issue, but this time gave a BSOD with the error "IQRL not less or equal" (i dont remember exactly).

I deduced that was that driver update basen on research through microsoft forums, so i renstalled the driver but didn´t worked, then i read something that maybe RAM was involved so i turnet off D.O.C.P. and the problem dissapeared BUT i wasn´t happy at all since my RAM is supossed to work at 3200 mhz naturally, then i tried not using them at max, but at D.O.C.P. on 3000 mhz, and it worked without problems. After a full day thinking, i tried to turn back on the D.O.C.P. at 3200 mhz... and it worked perfectly... for two days, then the problem started again while playing games.

I was keep thinking that all of this was because of the drivers or its residual, so i reset my pc, reinstalling windows. I also reinstaled AMD software.

It worked fine after that, even with D.O.C.P. at 3200 mhz.

Like at the 2th day after reseting my pc i searched how to give more vram to the integrated gpu on my Ryzen, did it from the BIOS with 2 gb instead of "Auto", and it worked fine for other 2 days, but then the same issues started happening while playing games

without doubt i reset my pc and still thinking that was an AMD software problem, i didn´t installed them this time, but same the issue again even on a same day reset of windows, just trying minecraft for quick test of this. BSOD with the message LiveKernelEvent error 141 on the "Reliability Monitor" tab

I made an exhaustive research of this error and all that i found was that i should check my SSD, my RAM and my CPU/GPUso i run the comand CHKDSKH on cmd, and it detected no issues on my SSD, also installed an official firmware updater and health test from the kingston page, and it said that everything was fine

then testet my RAM with mdsched command and it found no issues. Also tried MemTest86, with 12 hours of test and also, no issues where found.

i was just left with the posibility what my processor was the problem, so i restart the vram config from BIOS, from 2Gb to auto again, and tested on a web stress test and a program with the same purpose, and i had no problems. stressing CPU neither the GPU.

Even playing games i wasn´t getting the problems of crashes and BSOD. I realized i was getting close to the real problem: adding more vram to my integrated gpu, so i went to the bios again and changed it one more time from Auto to 2gb, and the issues started happening again, even the first time i tried enter windows after that it gave me a BSOD, but after a restart it entered normal, but now the crashes of games etc. again.

After all of this i still have doubts, like:

-----why it worked fine for 2 or 3 days and then start failling?

-----why i can´t give more vram to my gpu even if the temeratures are normal (i also read that this could be the issue)?

A moments ago after i put again the "2 gb of vram instead of auto" i was testing with a game and gave me a BSOD, but now with a different message, on the Reliability Monitor, that it says this:

"The computer restarted after an error check. The error check was:0x0000000a (0x000000000022853b, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff8050beb4b42).

i dont know other way to show the MEMORY.DMP file, so i uploaded it in one drive

    Hi Arturo espinosa1,

Thank you very much for your reply again, your reply is very important to us.

According to your description, there is a lag after updating the BIOS, so we recommend that you roll back to the old version of the BIOS first, click Download the old version of the BIOS here. Reset the BIOS before going back to the old version. After rolling back to the old version, check whether the phenomenon still exists.

This is to initially determine whether your lag is caused by upgrading to a newer version of the BIOS.

    Hi,
about the DOCP, no, as far as i tested that´s not causing the crashes, but the first time that the crashes happened, desactivating it solved them, after the first reset of windows i haven´t desactivated the DOCP and until now i don´t see that that´s the problem

i tried to clear the system cache but when i tried to execute " rd /s /q c:\Windows\temp " it said that i dont have permission or other aplication is using it

I didn´t have any BSOD or game crash since i reset the option of vram from 2gb to Auto

I updatet the bios succesfully, but now i have a new issue, my pc "lags" every 2 seconds, no matter what i´m doing, BUT i restart and it comes back to normal
Every time i turn my pc on, i have to restart it because of that problem

i already did a memory test and everything is fine

    Edit:

This issue also happens if i dont touch anything for like a minute, starts lagging every 2 seconds, but when i move something like the mouse, it gets back to normal

Also, i noticed that after like 2 hours without moving anything, the issue persist until y restart my pc

    ???

    Hi  Arturo espinosa1,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I understand that when you do a DOCP to let ram run at 3200mhz, your system will crash under uncertainty, am I understanding that correctly? Feel free to correct me if I understand wrong.

From what we've heard, some unpredictable bugs can occur after overclocking. We analyzed the log file provided by you and found that the process that caused the blue screen is "ntkrnlmp.exe", which is the kernel file of Windows. We guess that this problem may be caused by an incompatible driver installed in your device, but according to this log file, we cannot analyze the specific driver that has the problem.

We recommend that you try to clear the system cache first, because you have performed a reset operation, and these residual files may have an impact. The reference steps are as follows:

    • Run Command Prompt as an administrator Win + Q  -> enter "cmd", select "Run as administrator" -> enter the following commands in sequence.

    net stop wuauserv

    net stop bits

    net stop cryptsvc

    rd /s /q c:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution

    rd /s /q %temp%

    rd /s /q c:\Windows\temp

    net start wuauserv

    sc config wuauserv start=auto

    net start bits

    sc config bits start=auto

    net start cryptsvc

    sc config cryptsvc start=auto

After clearing the cache, it is recommended that you check for Windows Updates. According to the log file you sent us, it is found that your system version is not the latest version. It is recommended that you check the update first. The reference steps are as follows:

    • Win + I -> Windows Update -> Check for Updates

Please try to download the installation package of the main drivers (such as: BIOS, independent and core graphics cards, sound card drivers) of the corresponding device model from the official website of your computer equipment brand, overwrite and install it into the device, restart the device after installation, and follow the usual steps. Continue to use the device for a period of time to see if the blue screen still occurs.

Tips: Do not use any third-party drivers to upgrade the software, only download the drivers from the official website of the device brand.

Disclaimer: Microsoft provides no assurances and/or warranties, implied or otherwise, and is not responsible for the information you receive from the third-party linked sites or any support related to technology.

If you are going to modify BIOS Settings, please back up all your personal files first to ensure you do not lose data.

The above steps are provided based on the information I have learned so far, I wish that will be helpful to you. If your problem still cannot be solved by these steps, you could tell me the specific situation in the next reply. I will continue to assist you in solving the problem.

    Thanks for the support.
Haha it´s true, everything tend to fail and it´s frustrating :´)

I will try to update BIOS IF even without the increase of vram still failing.
As for the drivers, i didn´t installed the AMD software, instead i let windows update the drivers itself since i read on the AMD page that it´s the best.

But i still need to know what does the MEMORY.DMP file, probably that contains the core of all of this D:

Some problems can be incredibly intermittent. I spent months diagnosing multiple issues with my car that did that and one by one solving them. Computers are just as bad. Did you know that there's multiple idle states, and the computer when idling, if having a problem during one state might not have a problem often but will sometimes? :)

Unfortunately, you OC'd your hardware. That's going to continue to be a question if it did harm or not. RAM usually doesn't go bad so OC should be the only reason if it had a problem now. If a torture test works fine then you should hopefully be fine here. I'd move on unless you see a reason to think on it more.

You may want to try updating the BIOS here. You might also want to try the chipset driver directly from AMD as that might help.

Unfortunately, past this I'd be writing a book. Take larger swats at it to make it faster. Take little ones to make it take longer. Example: Full format of the drive (hours) and then clean install OS and minimum necessary and test it. If you want it to take longer then play around with older drivers or try Driver Verifier and look at the result dumps or whatever (it might not even have anything to do with that or it might lol).
