detailed info about my laptop sound chips capability

i have bought a laptop lenovo legion 5i 17 inch. which has Realtek ALC3306 and nahimic sound, my question is can my laptop deliver or process 24 bit 48khz or 96khz sample rate audio files, if i use it with headphone or it just will make 24 bit song a 16 bit. is it required an external usb dac for listening.

    Hi Berkeyzc1,

    I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.

    You can check the supported sample rates by your audio chip by going to Settings > System > Sound > More Sound Settings > Playback tab > Double click the Realtek audio device > Advanced tab > Select the dropdown menu and you will see all supported bitrates, the mode you select will be applied.

    Some applications can take control and apply their own settings.
