As the tilte suggests i have been experiencing my pc freezing and crashing while i play fortnite (havent tested any other games). To begin with ive been experiencing fortnite crashing mid game for the past week. I updated drivers windows 10 and unistalled fortnite and installed it again. After the windows update i think that the problem expanded to my pc freezing and crashing. To save you some time i have Autoruns from a previous crashing issue

    Hello Giannis_19, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

    I understand that you are having problems playing Fortnite on Windows 10;

    What platform did you download the game on? Stem, Epic Games or Xbox?

    What exactly is the error message displayed? (if possible send a screenshot of the error);

    What exactly is the model and manufacturer of your video card?

    Before answering the questions above I suggest that you make sure you are up to date with the latest version of Windows 10;

    Press Windows key + i and go to Update and Security;

    Click Check for updates and do ALL pending updates;

    Update Microsoft Store apps;

    Open the store and click on Library;

    Click on Get updates and wait for all apps to be updated;

    run a disk cleanup;

    Press Windows key + R and type: cleanmgr press Enter;

    Click on clean system files and wait for the files to load;

    Select all files and click ok to delete them;

    Perform a clean boot;

    Press together the keys: Ctrl + Shift + Esc to access the task manager;

    Click on start and disable all programs that start with Windows;

    Restart the PC and check if the problem persists;

    Hope this helps, see you soon!

    I run it on epic games

    There is no error code

    And i have a gtx 1660 from gigabyte i think

    I had a hunc it might have been a hardware failure (specifically the hdd cuz i hat some tight cables connected to it) but i run 5 ac origins benchmarks and i gamed a bit on it (since i have downloaded it to the hdd) but it didnt even freeze or stutter or crash once.

    I also have the newest windows 10 update which i believe downloaded yesterday or 2 days ago. And lastly i have the most recent drivers for everything. Also while fortnite was crashing mid game i have noticed that at task manager when i go to the performance tab and check the gpu, whenever a fortnite crash would occur specifically at the 3D tab of the gpu section it would spike from whatever % it was at the time to 0% then to 100% and then back to 0%
