I don't know what this is and I tried right clicking this but it does not make the properties appear when i right click on this file. I also cannot open this file and this file suddenly appeared. What should I do with this? my antivirus didnt detect any problems with this and my best guess is that this is google drive that i recently deleted.

Do you have a card reader attached to the computer, if you unplug it does the drive disappear? If it is a built in card reader then probably a windows update has changed what you see in File Explorer, it's nothing to worry about.

If it is a card reader then insert an SD card and see if that is accessed via the G: drive.

Hi and thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

I understand the issue you have, nothing to worry I am here to help, the icon indicates that the G: drive is missing it's either your old USB or hard drive connected to the PC, moreover you can remove it by following the steps below:

Open Powershell with Admin or CMD with Admin (Press Windows key + X then click Windows Powershell(Admin))

Then copy, paste and enter this command:

    mountvol G: /d

Let me know how it goes and I hope that helps.
