I have a Laptop which supports DDR4-2133mhz , can i add a 3200 ram into it?

And is there a difference between MT/s and MHz

    Hi Bob,

    The white-sheet for that laptop indicate you cannot install 3200MHz onto that RAM, most likely, it will not boot with that type of RAM installed and there is n point in RAM with that speed, because the memory bus has a maximum transfer rate of 2400Mhz

    Hi Bob,

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    The type of RAM to install on your PC depends on the RAM type and seed supported by the motherboard and processor.

    If the maximum speed supported by either of those is 2133Mhz, then regardless of the speed of the RAM you insert it will only run at that slower speed.

    I will check this out for you, click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.
