Microsoft Store on Windows 11 Fails to Open

Hi,

I'm running Windows 11 Pro (Build 22000). I rarely need to use the Store app, so I'm not sure how long this issue has existed, but whenever I open it, I get a message reading "Try that again. Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help" with error code 0x00000194.

Occasionally I'll be able to get to an app's page by opening Store from a webpage, but the app will then fail to install with a similar message like "something happened on our end."

I've already tried running troubleshooter and repairing and resetting the app. Neither have worked. I've also tried running WSreset, but the command hangs, and the window never closes (I let it run for about ten minutes). Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi John.

Unfortunately, none of the above solutions worked. I still get the same error message when opening Microsoft Store. Also, as I mentioned in the original post, wsreset hangs and never actually closes by itself.

Also, the troubleshooter found 'hanging or crashing apps' but reported that it was unable to fix them.

None of these have fixed the problem, but I think I might have at least identified the issue. Occasionally I'll be able to get to the store home page if I quickly press the back button after opening the app. I was able to navigate to the downloads and updates page, but when I click "get updates" the app hangs indefinitely. I think I might be running an out of date version of the app (version 12104). Is there a way to force an update since the 'get updates' button isn't working?
