Game DVR does not record at full 60 fps. How do I make it to capture all 60 frames?

Hi! I have a very powerful PC and decided to use Game DVR to record my gameplay with Xbox Game Bar in Windows 11. I have configured everything to record at 60 fps (instead of default and recommended 30 fps) at High recording quality.

However, the actual recordings are never 60 fps and instead hover around 50 frames, sometimes dropping to low 40s:

This is not a fault of my PC, as it runs the games way above 100 FPS for any game I throw at it. Also, Windows 11 is all at default settings without any modification to registry, file system, drivers, everything is as pure as can be..

Nvidia Shadowplay is able to record at full 60fps without dropping frames, but Game DVR NEVER has recorded at 60.

Greg, I mean no disrespect, but are you kidding me?

I have gone through all of your posts and will dissect your reply link by link now.

The person on reddit has NO response, solution or a fix for a similar issue.

I have already ENABLED 60 fps recording in game DVR, I have already SELECTED High video quality. My games run at WAY above 60 fps, nearing 120-150 fps in any game I throw at my PC. Yet the Game DVR recorded footage is ALWAYS below 60 fps that I selected for recording.

Come on, man. How is this even an Xbox Chat support issue if I am having problems in Windows 11 as I have specifies multiple times in this thread? Your response is well-meaning, but it completely misses the point of my question and provides blanket statements without even any workaround. I know that you are an Independent Advisor, but, by God, I've been nothing but specific in describing my problem.

60 FPS recording DOES NOT RECORD IN 60 FPS, BUT RECORDS IN 45-50 FPS. How to fix?!

Hi there, have you upgraded to Windows 11?
I've been using 3 different systems and I tend to benchmark games on all of them, and Windows Game Bar used to be enough for the task with good performance.
But since I've upgraded 2 of my systems to Windows 11 I've started to have very inconsistent video files, the more I record the worse it gets.
Altough surprisingly, my oldest and weakest system which is stuck with Windows 10, just continues to record fine at 60 FPS with Game Bar DVR.
Probably they just broke Game DVR on a latest update... SHAME, seriously!

At first I tought it was something related with Nvidia Drivers or something (GTX 1650 Super), but even with one of my laptops with an Intel Iris XE which used to work just fine, it's also having the same issues now...

    JEZZ Microsoft why...
I had to install Nvidia Geforce Experience and OBS to continue to record, can't believe I had to install useless Geforce Experience stuff which adds tons of useless services/processes to the background!

Thank you, Greg. You've done your best. Your suggestions may help other users, as they are entirely about a different issue, and I do not see a fix in any of your suggestions (meaning Game DVR records at full 60 fps as intended instead of 45-50 fps as it does now, despite 60 fps recording option being selected).

P.S. I am on a desktop PC, and I have no charger plugged in, it's not a laptop. Nothing is throttling my CPU/GPU performance, NOTHING. The games run at frames way above 60 frames per second, but the recording made by Game DVR ends up being 45-50 fps instead of selected 60 fps. It is not a throttling issue whatsoever.

I need to use Game DVR, and I have uninstalled Nvidia Shadowplay that was able to record gameplay at all 60 frames per second rock solid, not dropping a single frame. But I want to use Windows-provided software, and chose to use Game DVR, and it does not function as intended out of the box.

Im having the exact same issues. Doesnt matter if I try recording at 30fps or 60fps, all my clips come out at completely different frame rates. It was working perfectly fine for me a few weeks ago, but now nothing ive done can fix it. Ive tried update drivers, rolling back drivers, windows updates, all to no avail.

Thank you for a reply, but this neither solves my issue nor addresses it in the right way.

My issue is not that I can't or don't know how to ENABLE 60 fps recording. As you can see from screen snips, Game DVR does record above 30 fps with good bitrate.

What is does NOT do is record at full 60 frames per second, as per selection in the settings. In one of your links (linus tech tips forums), there was the same question and hints about issues with G-sync preventing full 60 fps recording, but I've tried using a different monitor or disabling G-sync fully and still got sub-60 frames per second Game DVR recording.

To reiterate - I have selected 60 fps recording in Game DVR. The recorded files never reach 60 fps, instead hovering around 45-50 fps, clearly indicating that 60 fps recording is not working as intended.

Specs: Windows 11 Pro, (Stock, untouched settings), Ryzen 5 3600 (not overclocked), 16 GB 3600 MHz 2 channel RAM, Nvidia RTX 3070 (not overclocked/not undervolted), NVMe 1 TB WD SN550 SSD running at full speed.
