The old Radeon 530 dedicated gpu had a DDR3 and DDR5 option. If yours used DDR3 VRAM you may get better performance
from your current DDR4 system RAM using the Intel UHD graphics than the 530 with it's DDR3 VRAM.
Particularly as the Radeon 530 was an entry level gpu, and not really a gaming gpu. So much so, that even if it had DDR5 it
would likely not have enough grunt to make good use of the extra VRAM performance anway.
Going on benchmarks from Notebook Check (@1280x760), and if your 11th gen i3 has the UHD 730 graphics, it will run a game such as
Far Cry 5 at 19fps vs 13fps with the Radeon 530 (still not very playable, but the only common game in the two reviews).
Intel cpu's with UHD 770 should see FC 5 frames jump up to 37 fps, so starting to get into gaming grade with the newer Intel UHD.
You didn't specify which particular i3 7th or 11th gen cpus, but because of newer cpu technology, your 11th gen cpu would be a fair bit more powerful, and better tuned into game processing than the old 7th gen cpu even if they run at the same, or similar clock speeds.
