I have a 10th Gen Intel CPU in a Lenovo Thinkpad.

The scenario for me is this, with Event Viewer logs interspersed in italics

    1. Screen goes to "off" state, but laptop is still actively running.

Event 506: The system is entering connected standby

    Reason: Idle Timeout.

    1. I unplug the power cord.

    Event 105: Power source change.

    1. System goes to sleep immediately.

Event 507: The system is exiting connected standby

    Reason: AC/DC Display Burst Suppressed.

Event 506: The system is entering connected standby

    Reason: AC/DC Display Burst Suppressed.

I have tried disabling connected standby / modern sleep in regedit by deleting the registry key Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\ModernSleep\EnabledActions variable, but it's not disabled and doesn't help anything.

    Hi Milan,

I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.

The connected Stanby is a sleep state.

Do you do anything related to display when it shows this behaviour?
