Regardless its almost a year later and i cannot unlock my taskbar , ehhhh to each their own

2022-10-13T21:59:34+00:00 I do agree with what you said. I don't like to speculate on one's reason to say or do something until I find out what the actual motive was. But, in this case, and as you said, it is either arrogance or total incompetance. If they have a solid reason for doing what they did, then they should make it clear to us so we can understand where they are coming from.
The option to move the taskbar around worked quite well in the past (at least in my experience), and now to be left with this "fixed or autohide" option is just simply not practical. My latest laptop has lost about 1/2 an inch or more of screen space (height wise) due this redesigned bar.
So, Microsoft people if you are listening , please put that fonctionality back as soon as it is possible to do so.

That's lovely thank you. I don't have a live install of Windows 11 now but if I had then I would give that a try :) I think it's a bit much that people are having to patch their operating system to get it to work properly (especially when you're not great with computers like me!)
