Intel AX201 does not support UNII-3 channels in Windows 10 / Windows 11 with the latest Intel Windows drivers 22.160.0.4 The Intel AX200 does support UNII-3 channels in Windows 10/11

So if you use an access point that 'accidentally' broadcasts on channel 149,153,157,161 or 165 that your laptop will not connect. This is a big problem in Windows! (With Ubuntu you will be able to connect so the hardware supports it but the drivers / software do not!

Hello just wanna ask whether is there any new update which keeps interfering with the wifi 6 AX201? Because it keeps getting error even after i have uninstalled reinstall, use old driver, and also cmd reset. In device manager after a while the wifi just gone despite the driver is there as it display exclamation mark indicating error. anyone got any older version? i just recently clean install to windows 11 using the iso as previously my drop down overflow menu was gone from the bottom right. and now that one is ok i keep getting no internet connection due to missing wifi settings after a while. i did the driver change to but suddenly the problem came back

I'm on Win11. I checked the driver list and there was one which ended in Windows instead of Intel and I chose that. It is now working. I hope this helps.

Thanks Carlo. After reinstalling the old driver from Microsoft in the list, it finally comes back working.

I have tried all these fixes but none worked for me.

I tried rolling back to windows 10 on clean installation but the WI-FI is still not showing, it came up after "network reset" but disappeared after 6mins

I really need help, am currently on windows 10 and nothing still work, I practically have nothing on my laptop right because of this, and all these happened when I first upgraded to Windows 11 and now my laptop is downloading the windows 11 again because i have updated all updateable items on this laptop. am using HP Pavilion 15 10th Gen.
