Was playing a youtube video in the background and suddenly screen went black and my computer made a hard reset. Can provide these files:

WATCHDOG-20211211-1816.dmp
sysdata.xml
WERInternalMetadata.xml
WERInternalRequest.xml
memory.csv
sysinfo.txt

Any chance someone could help troubleshoot?

    Hello @Ricardo Varona

in addition there are several common causes that are often responsible for this system crash:

Outdated or corrupted Intel Wi-Fi Driver: what follows is to updated the Intel Wi-Fi driver with the latest compatible iteration. But here somes the next one: new external drives that are just connected to a Windows 11 computer. You can typically resolve these by running the Hardware and Devices TroubleShooter and applying the recommended fix to enable your PC’s ability to auto-update with the newest drivers on all devices that are just connected.
VPN tools incompatibility: if you have a VPN installed and configured to open every time you boot up your Windows 11 computer, keep in mind that this unexpected system interrupts can be caused by an incompatibility between the VPN and a kernel sub-process. In this case, the only viable fix is to uninstall the conflicting software.

Outdated chipset driver - you should update your chipset driver to the latest release compatible with Windows 11 – the instructions will be different depending on if you need the AMD or Intel drivers.

This error code could occurred due to some type of system file corruption that is affecting the stability of your operating system. Initiate a clean install or repair install (in-place repair) operation.

Hope this helps with your query!

    The computer had recent BSOD.

The bugchecks were D1 and 7E.

    Please perform the following steps:

    1) Upload event viewer logs:
    https://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2017/12/how-to-share-event-logs-in-case-of.html#.Yb6IY2hKiUk

    2) Search for:

    12/14/2021 4:43:59 PM 2.02 C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports\WATCHDOG\WATCHDOG-20211214-1643.dmp

Save to the downloads folder > zip > post share links into this thread

    3) Uninstall the Nvidia GPU driver nvlddmkm.sys using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU)

    4) Reinstall the Nvidia GPU driver from the Nvidia website

    5) Make sure that you check the clean install box and if available install the physx driver

    6) Check for upgrades for the BIOS and chipset drivers

    7) For any new BSOD run V2 and post a share link into the newest post

    Driver C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERSTORE\FILEREPOSITORY\NV_DISPI.INF_AMD64_642E50D7B66AA2A4\NVLDDMKM.SYS (30.0.14.9709, 37.80 MB (39,633,336 bytes), 12/9/2021 6:15 PM)
