Network adapter named "douglas"?

I was doing some laptop maintenance today and clicked on Network in the file menu of My PC to check what devices are connected. There is a computer device name as "douglas". That is not my computer! When I click properties, it states some information regarding Amazon. Then after a couple seconds it drops from the list of computers. The only change I made to my laptop was installing Amazon Apps through the Microsoft Store yesterday, but I uninstalled it the same day. This is intermittent and randomly appears for a few seconds. I am already having an issue between the Google Play Store and Bluestacks that was installed and uninstalled; however, an ONEPLUS device is attached to my Google profile that is not mine. Not sure what is happening but now I keep getting the Google login for Microsoft requesting access and the change there was installing Google Drive on the desktop. Maybe syncing issue between Google/Microsoft and Google keeps asking for permission? Also, today an issue in saving documents to OneDrive as random files are blocked by Protection History in Windows Security. Should I reimage my laptop/factory reset?

I contacted Microsoft Support. Remote connected and a specific service was disabled in Computer Management. Issue resolved.

Yes, that's what I thought but I can't find any file causing the issue. I've already scoured my computer system. No results searching with Amazon Apps. I don't know what name any residual file is in relation to Amazon Apps.

It could be part of the virtual android device used for the Amazon App Store. If you no longer need this you can remove it and see if this resolves the issue.

    Kind Regards,

No. Only HP Laptop, Samsung Note9 and Galaxywatch4. No other devices. The device named 'douglas' continues to connect intermittently to my network. I refreshed as well as a couple shutdown/restarts. No resolve. No one else in the house with any other device. I'm not sure what is causing the intermittent issue - someone hacking my network or an app with a virus attacking my hard drive.

Hi, I'm Elise, and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

Do you have an Amazon Fire Tablet device on your network?

I believe this is simply the PC detecting this on the network. From the model number shown it appears to be a Fire 8 Tablet.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise
