GPU stopped working after Windows 11 22H2 update

I've just updated my Windows 11 22H2 version. After that my GPU (Nvidia GeForce MX330) stopped working.

Windows stopped showing GPU performance in the Task manager. Firstly it was shown in the device manager but hiddenly.

Then I wanted to reinstall it and uninstalled the driver. And when I want to install the Nvidia driver manually,

it shows the message: "This Nvidia graphics driver isn't compatible with this version of Windows. This graphic driver couldn't find compatible graphics hardware.".

I also can't restore my older version of windows, because I didn't create a restore point. Please help me get back my GPU driver...

So I've been dealing with this driver issue for the last week or so. I've tried nearly everything to get it fixed. I have a surface book 3 with a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 Ti driver. I noticed the issue when I checked the device manager and the Nvidia driver was gone. It was only showing up when I selected show hidden devices. Then I've gone an updated the driver to the newest one and it kinda worked. Then the issue continued and someone suggested disconnecting the screen from the keyboard and poof the nvidia driver showed back up in the device manager. So I figured everything was fine, but when I would go and play games my game would crash at random times. When the game crashed I would check the device manager and the Nvidia driver was gone again. So I've gone and made sure that my surface book had the latest firmware, tried updating to the latest driver, restarted into my BIOS and checked and unchecked my gpu, etc. It seems now my last option is to do a fresh re install of Windows 11 which I absolutely do not want to do. I don;t want to lose all my documents, apps, etc. It makes me angry because this seems to be a Windows 11 and Nvidia issue, and they need to figure out how to resolve this. Does anyone have any advice other than to re install Windows?? Beyond frustrated to say the least!

In your laptop, is there any option, to set the default graphics card is used?

3D Video Controller means a dedicated Nvidia graphics card, and windows is correctly detected hardware.

Coul you find the hardware device ID for 3D Video Controller

download the 526.86 driver from the below Nvidia site

    GeForce Game Ready Driver | 526.86 | Windows 11 | NVIDIA

    extract .exe file using Winrar.

You can install the driver using the .inf file from the device manager.

    Hi Atabek,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The version 526.47 is the latest version of the Nvidia driver and it is reported to have bugs.

The best option is to go to the Nvidia website, then from there, try installing a couple of older versions of the Nvidia driver, they are usually more stable and one of them should install correctly.
