Hi All,
I have Windows Dual Boot with Linux, and whenever I boot into Windows (11), I have to re-set the time again. It looks to be going back to UTC, but it says Eastern. The correct time zone is indeed Eastern. To fix, all I have to do is right click on the click, click "Adjust Date and Time", and turn "Set time automatically" back off, then back on. This fixes the time immediately.
It actually says the right time zone from the start at the top "Time Zone (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)", so the timezone is actually right.. But if I reboot it's back to the old time.
Also, "Set Time Zone Automatically" is disabled and turned off. It says "Last successful time synchronization:" was 3 days ago, so apparently turning the option off/on above doesn't count as a synchronization!
It's also worth noting this is a brand new installation of Windows 11, and was installed to a different HD partition after Linux. Windows shows up in the GRUB bootloader, (it is not default, I have to cursor down and select it). I did not have this issue prior to reinstalling Windows.
Does the time issue happen to anyone else? This is tricky to Google because all that comes up is how to set your time.
Thank you in Advance,
Dan Chase
