I already have a new computer and it's even estimated to fix this problem among a few others...but I got it for Christmas last year and it still hasn't been built.
Programs Won't Recover From (Not Responding) Brackets Properly
Windows programs and services used to stop responding and then when they finally decide to run, they stay running. Windows 10 is finally the exception. On my computer atleast, when programs and services run again from after they've stopped responding, they only do so for a few seconds before crashing. This can be a problem because the internet on my XP virtual machine will disconnect and I have to restart the service to get it working again. Does anyone else have this issue?

2022-11-18T02:20:15+00:00 Hi
Thanks for your reply.
This is mainly based on your daily needs to locate your upgrade goals, if you only use some office or browse videos, not large load applications. Your current PC configuration only needs to add some memory. If you want to upgrade your computer completely (you have enough money i mean), you can also buy the latest pc at present.

2022-11-11T01:28:22+00:00 Hi
Thank you for the configuration information.
From your current configuration, most of your unresponsive problems are caused by insufficient memory.
I recommend you add 4~8g of memory, and then try the program you need to run again to check whether they can recover from the unresponsive.
Too small memory will greatly affect the program operation and response recovery.
By the way, your computer configuration is really old. It is also a normal phenomenon that your computer does not respond. Especially when running some complicated programs.

2022-11-09T03:46:52+00:00 Hi
Welcome to Microsoft community.
I'm glad to help you.
Under normal circumstances, not all programs are closed and flash back after not responding for a long time on win10.
This is a normal phenomenon in Windows. It occurs when your CPU is busy or the program has problems. Windows self-protection will ask you if you want to end the program to relieve the CPU pressure, or you can wait for a while for the program to respond. Of course, if you don't respond for a long time, you should end it directly.
Reasons for program not responding:
- This is because the program requests resources from the system at runtime, but has been in a state of insufficient resources for a long time.
- This problem is mainly caused by the process priority of the program. The priority is too low. When resources are called to multiple levels, the program applies for resources, but the resources are insufficient, and the request is not approved. Over time, the program is starved to death.
- The same is true for viruses. A program applies to call system resources, but the resources are occupied by viruses for a long time, even depriving other resources that have just been released, resulting in few available resources, or the virus forcibly modifies the priority of each process in the process list, resulting in the resource call application not being approved for a long time.
- It is recommended that processes check and kill viruses, and optimize the system. If the configuration is early, it is appropriate to consider upgrading or changing the platform. If very few programs still fail to respond, you can consider manually adjusting the priority of the process in the process manager.
If there is a problem with the hard disk, it will often appear to be suspended at the beginning because the data reading points to the storage area where the problem occurs.
There are several reasons for the program not responding:
- The network speed is too high,
- The memory space is insufficient,
- The hard disk is too small, and
- The buffer memory.
There are always two reasons why the computer does not respond to programs: the available memory space is small, and it is not enough to run the corresponding programs. There are viruses in the memory or Trojan horses are infecting system files, program files, and interfering with their operation The solution is to suit the situation! For small memory available space, the priority should be to increase memory - spend money to buy memory. Without spending money, it is necessary to terminate all unnecessary programs and processes. For Win98, you can terminate all programs except Explorer. For Win2000 and xp, you can terminate all processes and programs that can be terminated. For viruses or trojans, you can only kill viruses!
The inability to respond to this item is most likely to occur when you have explosive applications for files or software.
Winxp and win10 are not so similar, but many people have not yet understood this problem. Windows xp may be temporarily unresponsive due to CPU exhaustion, but after a little time of waiting, it will return to the normal working state, and the running data will not be lost. It is rare for Windows XP to be truly unrecoverable in operation, unless you do not use it or have serious hardware problems.
Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
Best regards
