Is there a way in the Phone Link app to use the speakers on a laptop or even the audio jack on a computer to play sound from the Android phone instead of it playing from the speaker on the phone?

Hello JoelStitt, I am terribly sorry for the mistake on my part. On further testing the audio playes through the phone itself and does not utilize computers audio system. You can control the app playing the audio from the phone link app on the system but the audio will play through the phone itself. I am sorry for the mistake on my part and for the bad news.

I've tried pairing the two devices using Bluetooth, then inside the Sound controls there is an option for configuring 'separate app sound' so that I can permit certain apps to play sound to Phone or a separate Bluetooth device, I was unable to connect and share audio using the Bluetooth link with the two devices. This wasn't the idea that I had originally and was hoping someone had a solution to this.

This a Samsung Galaxy A42 5G, on the list of other eligible devices.

Sharing audio would have been an ideal thing from the beginning of this apps development and I am sure the development team knows this already. It would be an ideal feature to have.

If you have a device that supports apps functionality in phone link ( please check this list : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/suppo...) then you can run the audio app through phone link and play your music through laptop.
