Hi Ron6576,
I am sorry, I use Adobe Acrobat, but there are many free virtual printers available, I have never used any of them, but I am sure some of them would have that functionality.

Is there a way to automate PDF printing without prompting users? I'd like to be able to print to PDF files without user interaction. Idealy, when I print something (from any app)... I expect to see a fileMMDDYYHHMMSS.PDF in a specified folder on the storage without getting prompted for a filename and location to save it to.

Thanks for the reply. I've heard that scripting can automate Microsoft Print to PDF printer. Do you know any 3rd party (virtual) PDF printer that saves to files without prompting?
Hi Ron6576,
I am Dave, I will help you with this.
There is no option or setting in Windows or even a registry hack to automatically print a file to PDF without the user providing a file name and location, there may be a free 3rd party PDF virtual printer available online, but the Windows PDF printer cannot do this.
