Question about kms activation

Hello,
I had Windows 10 unactivated for a long time and a few days ago I decided to find a way to activate it. I found this video that told me to use this code in cmd prompt:
slmgr.vbs /ipk *****-*****-*****-*****-*****

slmgr.vbs /**** ***.*****.**

slmgr.vbs /***

So I used it and it activated fine. But then, I found out that it was not a legal way to activate windows, so I removed the license key with:
slmgr /upk

slmgr /cpky

slmgr /rearm

I then decided to update to Windows 11 Pro and then purchased a Windows 11 Pro key legally through the Microsoft Store. I then activated it and now I legally own Windows 11 Pro.
My question is, did I do anything that was permanently damaging by using the illegal method? If so, how can I remove that?

Hi TheFriedPK,, yes, that is exactly what you need to see, that is now a fully legal activation.

Thank you so much, you've really given me peace of mind. Is there anything I need to check with this command to make sure that everything is legit and the KMS isn't there?

    Hi TheFriedPK

Rest assured, 1001 is the default rearm count in Windows, that does not mean anything, On my OEM Windows on all my laptops the rearm count is also 1001 and that never changes no matter how many items I re-install it.

Thank you so much for the reply. But I did hear something about the KMS server making your rearm count to 1001? I ran slmgr.vbs /dlv in my command prompt and it still shows a remaining rearm count of 1001. Can I do anything about that or am I fine?

    Hi TheFriedPK

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

You are correct, connecting to that KMS server is not a legal way to activate Windows and you have performed all the correct steps to remove that KMS activation.

So rest assured, there is no trace of that KMS activation left and there is no damage done or any lasting affects, you are now legally activated and there is nothing further you need to do.
