The tool I suggested is for hiding driver updates as well. I've used it for this purpose before.
But I remember once that using the tool, the driver updates didn't appear either, so I left it to solve later.
When I took the time to solve the issue, driver updates were no longer listed on Windows Update. Perhaps the same will happen to you.
Personally, I prefer not to install the drivers offered on Windows Update. That's why I disabled driver updates.
If you want, you can do the same.
Do the following to disable driver updates:
- Press "Windows + R", type sysdm.cpl and press Enter;
- Select the "Hardware" tab;
- Select "Device Installation Settings";
- Select "No (your device may not work as expected);
- Click "Save Changes" and then "Ok".
- Restart your PC.
In some cases, the above procedure is not enough. If it keeps showing up, you should be able to disable it using GPEDIT.
Using the Local Group Policy Editor (GPEDIT):
- Press "Windows + R", type gpedit.msc and press Enter;
- In the left pane, navigate to the following path: "Computer Configuration> Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > Manage updates offered from Windows Update";
- Find "Do not include drivers with Windows Updates" and double-click to edit;
- Select "Enabled", click "Apply" and then "Ok".
- Restart the PC.
