my windows 10 computer can’t connect to any networks after I moved to a new house. When i try to connect it always says “Can’t connect to this network”. It says that too when I try to connect to other networks. I’ve tried many solutions that I could find on the internet but none helped me.

    Hi,

I’m using a new router. I followed your steps and clicked forget for every known networks but it still shows “can’t connect to this network”.

    Hi,

is the router the same as before or do you have a new router?

Go to Settings> Network and Internet> Wi-Fi> Manage known networks, select all the network profiles present and then choose Forget or Cancel. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list, connect by correctly re-entering the Wi-Fi password that is set on the router. Try following here too:

    Hi,

restart your pc and router and try again.

Otherwise, try to reset network connections: Open PowerShell or CMD and run as administrator, copy and paste the following commands by pressing enter at the end of each command line:

    netsh winsock reset

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh advfirewall reset
    ipconfig /flushdns

Restart the computer at the end of all commands.

If the problem persists, try these steps:Settings> Network and Internet> Status, click Network Reset on the right side, follow the instructions.

Run the troubleshooter and report the Windows error message or post a screenshot.

Specify the exact model of your WiFi adapter.

I ran the network troubleshooter and this is what I got:

My wifi adapter is “MediaTekWi-Fi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN Card”

Can the other wireless devices in the house connect to your WiFi network and access the internet?

Check that the date and time on your computer are correct. If it is a laptop, go to the laptop manufacturer's website> Support and Drivers Area and download the latest recent WiFi driver for your WiFi adapter model, then install it by following these steps:

    1. Download the latest version of the driver from the computer manufacturer's website and save it to your desktop.
    2. Disconnect from the Internet, (disconnect the Ethernet cable and / or disable WiFi).
    3. Go to Device Manager> Network Adapters, right click on the wireless network adapter and choose Uninstall, select the checkbox, "Delete the driver software for this device". Restart the computer while remaining disconnected from the internet.
    4. Right click on the previously downloaded driver file and run it as administrator.
    5. Restart your computer, reconnect to the internet and try again.

If Bluetooth is also present, perform the same procedure to reinstall the Bluetooth driver.
