My Dell XPS 15 9570 is no longer detecting my GPU no matter what I do.

As the title says, my Dell XPS does not detect or utilize my GPU which is an Nvidia 1050ti with Max-Q Design. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers for both Nvidia and Intel Integrated GPUs. I have updated my bios. Nvidia control panel does not open when I click on it. Nvidia GeForce experience "installs the update" but continually says there is a new one available, indicating that the installation failed, and nothing changed. The GPU shows up in Device Manager and is said to be working fine despite all of this. Windows does not detect it in display settings where I can set a different GPU for max performance.

The real kicker is when I try to install drivers for the GPU that are meant for the Quadro series of GPUs (an installation Dell says I need for the card), I get a BSOD in the middle of the update stating page fault in non-paged area which blames nvlddmkm.sys as the culprit. I tried disabling Nvidia LS container, but this did not prevent the crash. I tried going into BIOS, but there is no setting that even mentions my GPU in any category of BIOS. I am truly at a loss here and have no idea what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi again Luiz,

Sadly this did not solve the issue. It is worth noting again that reinstalling the newest Nvidia drivers does not work and they seen to not install, despite the installation program saying it was a success. Moreover, trying to install a different Nvidia driver meant for the quadro cards will give me a BSOD. Maybe this provides some insight?

    Hi Luiz,

Sadly, this did not solve my problem. Nvidia control panel still does not open and my Nvidia GPU does not appear in Intel Graphics Command Center or in games. Returning the system to Dell to check for a hardware malfunction is not going to be an option, as I have already wasted too much money on Dell Support's incompetence in the past year. Are you aware of any other solutions that could be found using software? Could the BSOD I receive when trying to install Quadro drivers be caused by a faulty Windows 10 installation? Any other solutions you can provide would be much appreciated.

    Hi again Luiz,

That is correct. They are the options on a 2018 Dell XPS 15 9570, which is the laptop I have. If you would like, I can attach a DxDiag and other screenshots to my next correspondence if it would be of any help. Thank you.

    Hi Luiz,

Thanks for your help. This did not solve my problem. I followed the steps to update my bios, then intel drivers, then nvidia drivers in that order. This yielded no result and the same problem persisted. Disabling my integrated graphics did not enable my Nvidia GPU, but rather set my system to a lower resolution. Upon checking in the Intel graphics control panel, it did not detect any GPU installed in the system - not the disabled one and not the seemingly undetectable Nvidia one. It is worth mentioning that I have disassembled my laptop in an attempt to solve the issue and found that the GPU is physically seated in the motherboard correctly and is not connected via a PCIe slot of any sort. It is installed directly into the motherboard. Let me know if you can find any other solutions or have any other recommendations.
