Wifi on Windows 11 not working

I have a strange problem on my computer that is causing me some bother. Closing the lid of my laptop, I sometimes return to find no internet, despite my router working perfectly fine, and I can't reconnect it unless I fully restart my computer. Obviously, this is incredibly frustrating. No other device in my house has this problem, it does not matter where I am in my house and it has now decided to disconnect expinentialy whilst I'm on my computer, using it. I can't find a specific fix for this, and I was wondering if anyone else had had this problem?

    Hi Gabriel,

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

    Please try the following methods.

    1. Install the latest Windows updates.
    2. Update or Rollback the WIFI driver in the Device Manager.

Open Device Manager >> click Network Adapters >> right- click your WIFI driver >> click Update Driver.

If the system says that you have the latest driver installed. Try to Roll back the driver. Right-click your WIFI driver >> click Properties >> click Driver tab >> click Roll back driver.

    1. Change WIFI driver Power Management in the Device Manager.

Open Device Manager >> click Network Adapters >>Right-click your WIFI driver >> click Properties >> click Power Management tab >> uncheck, "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

    1. Run Windows troubleshooter.

Open Settings >> Update and Security >. Troubleshoot >> click Network Adapter >> click Run the troubleshooter.

    1. Uninstall the currently installed WIFI driver then download and install the available driver from the PC manufacturer's website.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.
