Hello DennisLong63,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
Let me help you with how to install Windows 11 on a new SSD.
You can start by creating a USB drive installation media using Microsoft Creation Tool.
On the Windows 11 software download page, select Create Tool Now, and then install the steps to install Windows 11.
Steps: After visiting Download Windows 11
1). Click on "Download Now" and run the tool after the download is complete.
2). After running the tool, select "Accept" the user license terms, click "Next".
3). Wait for the Windows preparation work to finish, select "Create installation media for another PC".
4). Select the language, system version and number of bits as needed (the default is to automatically match the current system, if you reselect, uncheck the "Use the recommended option for this PC")
5). Select "ISO file" and click "Next".
6). Select the corresponding storage location and click "Next".
7). Wait for the file download and media creation to complete, click "Finish".
8). Open the ISO file or USB flash drive
9). Run the Windows 11 installer setup.exe, and then start the installation. The system will automatically recognize the version for installation.
After the system is installed you can try to activate the system by going to the "Start" button and then selecting "Settings" > "System" > "Activate" in order.
If you have any problems with the activation process, please Using the Windows Activation troubleshooter.
If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
