Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz Driver (22.160.0.4) not working

On Razer 2020 15" Studio Edition. Running Windows 11.

Device Manager says - This device cannot start. (Code 10) {Operation Failed} The requested operation was unsuccessful.

I can only use with USB-C to Ethernet adapter to router, which is suboptimal.

Intel DSA says this is the latest driver.

Anyone else have this issue and know a solution?

Much thanks

This Wi-Fi card has been around for a while. The individual driver should not be responsible for your situation. Almost any you can find, should work.

These cards depend on the chipset on the system to do their job so make sure those drivers are updated.

For some reason, it seems this card is being mentioned quite often, for some reason. Possibly going to Win 11 22H2 may be involved but mine still seems to be working normally.

In device manager, uninstalling the device and checking the box to remove the drivers may help. Depending on how many older drivers you have installed, you may need to do this more than once.

Download the driver you want to use, then go offline until the install is completed. Once completed, reboot and go back online. Hopefully, this will clear out problems.

And to add, The wifi driver is now 21.60.0.5, so it's rolled back quite a lot.

And the OS is 21H2 (10.0.22000) as it can't yet upgrade to 22H2 due to some printer issue

Thank you thank you! This is exactly what was needed. I had tried similar (after researching online) but without checking the box to remove the drivers.
