Hello, based on your description, there may be several reasons:
- Your headset is a wireless one, after unplugging, it still has power to play audio: Check whether the issue occurs when there is a phone call or electromagnetic interference, which may make you hear a sound similar to waves or drums. You can connect your headset to your computer, with WiFi disabled on your phone, ask someone else to make a call to you, and check whether there is a similar sound. Generally this sound will not damage your headset. If this is the root cause, keep your phone connected to WiFi to decrease the issue.
- Your headset is not a wireless one and there is no power supply: it means there is a hardware issue with your headset. And you need to contact the manufacturer for assistance. Under normal circumstances without power and signal reception, the headset will not play any sound on its own.
Also, may I ask if your Logitech headset is G633? I’ve seen other uses report that Logitech G633 headset will play “explosive” sound. For wired ones, unplug the cable; for wireless ones, there’s currently no way to resolve this issue, and you’ll need to contact Logitech for help: Contact Logitech - Corporate Offices & Support Enquiries
