ABOUT A CORRUPT DEVICE: Intel RST VMD Managed Controller 09AB

Hi Dave.

I am actually experiencing a reduction in my processing speeds and the computer has been freezing back and forth every after an hour and a half of utilizing the computer. Initially, I thought it was RAM issue and many other factors, but interestingly after fixing everything, and wanting to update my windows 11 OS to the recent version, I was met with sad update errors and once I performed a diagnostic, it showed the error. That was when I went on to check the device manager that says the driver is well installed.
Which begs the question, "What could be the problem?"

After downloading, what do I need to follow to install? I am already in the device manager and attempting to update the driver, but I seem to have an already up to date driver and once I attempt to delete/uninstall so that I can reinstall, it is still apparent even when other applications are not utilizing it. What could be the problem?

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The best option is to download the Intel RST VMD driver form the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, that would be the most compatible version of that driver and can be usually found in the Chipset section

If you still cannot find that driver, Intel provide a version of the Intel RST VMD driver on this link on their website (bottom option)
