ACPI BIOS ERROR

Hello MS Community,

My PC wasn't booting/no monitor display for around a week so I tried swapping out parts, GPU, RAM, PSU nothing would work. Got a new motherboard and the pc booted fine with everything for about an hour, afterwards kept crashing and now cannot boot. I can get into bios fine but if I try to boot from my ssd, I just get a BSOD with ACPI_BIOS_ERROR. Haven't been able to boot since.

Since it is a new motherboard I also tried a fresh install of windows with media creation tool via usb, but I get stuck in a loop of briefly showing the motherboard logo, windows logo, and then black screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Found this on the Bug Check page of the error:

"If you are not performing debugging, this error indicates that you have to obtain a new BIOS. Contact your vendor or visit the internet to get a new BIOS.

If you cannot obtain an updated BIOS, or the latest BIOS is still not ACPI compliant, you can turn off ACPI mode during text-mode setup. To turn off ACPI mode, press the F7 key when you are prompted to install storage drivers. The system does not notify you that the F7 key was pressed, but it silently disables ACPI and enables you to continue your installation."

Have no idea if the F7 bit does anything (as I am not sure it works in a normal end-user situation) as I have never had cause to try but might be worth a go....similarly, trying a new BIOS

    Hello, brandonle000

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

If you can access BIOS settings, try changing ACPI settings and AHCI settings and see if there will be any difference, since this problem may be related to BIOS settings. You can contact the device manufacturer for assistance if you don't know how to do so.

If you've contacted them, but this issue still can't be solved, send feedback about this issue with the Feedback Hub app. This helps Microsoft determine the root cause of the problem. Include specific details about what you were doing when the problem occurred.

Feel free to let me know if you have any other concerns.

    Best wishes

That sounds a bit risky for you. Then the best choice is to contact the manufacturer or a repair service to repair this PC directly. There's not much worth trying for Windows.

In my BIOS settings (MSI) the only ACPI settings are Power LED and CPU Over Temperature alert. It it okay to disable the latter or will I be risking my CPU.
