So a few months ago I bought a new pc and a 1080p fhd monitor
the screens always been very pixelated though

I cant really tell if its a problem with the monitor or the pc, sometimes when I go on and off of fullscreen on youtube videos or games things go normal for a few seconds but it always ends up getting pixelated again not even a few seconds after

Ive tried most fixes, updated and reinstalled my driver, my pc resolution is the same as the monitors resolution which is 1080p but nothing really seems to help, at this point any new fix is helpful, Ive been thinking of replacing my monitor but Im also scared its just a problem with my pc or nvidia control panel settings

for my graphics I have an nvidia 3060ti and an 11th gen intel core i7-11700

    Hello Barnabus02,

    I am Jaspreet Singh.

What type of monitor is it? If it is a high refresh rate monitor try reducing the refresh rate and check if that improves the situation.

You might want to test out the monitor with other devices like a tv set top box or a gaming console etc before you try for a replacement.

That would indicate a compatibility issues with windows machine and the monitor.

    hello jaspreet
    its a 27inch 165 hertz monitor
I have it at 120 though, even when I set it to 60hz the quality stays the exact same
Ive tested the monitor out on a ps4 and my old laptop
it seemed to have the same problem with the laptop but not with the console for some reason

I use geforce experience to update my drivers so its from the makers
and no its a desktop with one monitor
as for the display being on default, Ive had this problem since the very start when I first bought both so they should've been on default settings

If this is a branded PC you update drivers only from that PC maker and no other source

There will be a shortcut on your system to that makers update utility

The display should be set to defaults.

Are you implying that this is a laptop with a second monitor?
