Hi... I'm using a Dell laptop with Windows 10 Pro which is up todate. I have a folder listed in the Quick access list under My PC which no longer exists and I can't remove it or delete it.

Does anyone have any idea as to how I can remove / delete the entry ?

thanks B.E.

    Hi BE_H,

Please click on the Quick Access star to open the Quick Access home view.

In the right pane, multi-select items and unpin them. See Option 3 in this Quick Access article.

If Option 3 doesn't work, try Option 4 (which will clear the entire list).

Hi Ramesh... I right clicked on the QA star and although I did not see the multi-select items to unpin them, I did see in 'Options'

a selection to clear File Explorer History. This resolved my issue. The phantom file folder entry is now gone.

Thanks so much for your interest and help.

    Hi BE_H,

You can try right clicking on the folder and click on unpin
    OR
You can also try to delete the file explorer Browsing history by clicking on the three dots on the menu bar, click on option on the general tab and click on clear.
