Might sound confusing, but what I would like to know is if there's a way for me to message someone on Xbox (console) from my PC while not having to use the Xbox PC application.
I only ask because I remove the Xbox app completely from my PC as it uses resources that I never plan on using myself. Like I don't have Gamepass (no plan to get it) and don't ever purchase games from the Microsoft store.
Before this Xbox app I was able to just directly message Xbox users from Xbox.com which was great, but Microsoft shut that down sometime ago.
Basically right now what I do is install the app, send the message and then remove it once I'm done. Really don't like this workflow.

Good day Korey! I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. The best bet that you can do for this is to download and install the Xbox app via the Apple Store or PlayStore on your phone and this way you can still chat or message someone without having to install it on your PC.
