Microphone Sensitivity to low, USB headset

Is there a way to separate headset volume and microphone sensitivity?

USB headset when turning down the listening volume on earpiece, the master volume goes down and the microphone sensitivity also goes down.

When adjusting the microphone sensitivity up it turns the master volume up and the earpiece volume goes up.

Either people can't hear you or the volume is dangerously high.

    Hi Scott

I'm Juliet and I'll do my best to help you.

I'd recommend that we try changing the microphone sensitivity in Windows; you'll need to go into the device settings for your microphone.

    1. Navigate to System > Sound in the Settings menu.
    2. Make sure your microphone is selected under Input, then click Device Properties.
    3. Select Other device properties.
    4. Increase or decrease the Microphone level in the Levels tab (sensitivity).
    5. Close the device properties window and begin talking. The microphone test will play back your voice. Increase or decrease the mic levels as needed until your voice is clearly heard.

I hope it helps! Let me know the results.

Have a nice day ahead and Stay safe always :)
