I was watching a football match on my laptop and I got a pop up message "Microsoft.Yourphone" I have attached a screenshot. I didn't run the app and I don't remember installing Microsoft your phone, is this a virus?

    Hi, Uagk#!

My name is Caio and I'll be happy to help you today =)

It's not a virus, it's the Your Phone app, from Microsoft, trying to run in background. In case it's annoying you (or starts to), just perform the steps below:

    > Press Windows key + i

    > Select Privacy

    > Choose Background apps

    > Disable Your Phone

I hope this helps you! Please let me know if I can assist you more.

    Best regards,

    Caio G.

I recently upgraded to Windows 11, hoping that the annoying Your Phone pop-up problem would be fixed. But it still occurred. I looked for 'phone' among the apps on Windows 11 and found Phone Link. I turned off Phone Link and it solved the problem! I hope this helps.
