Hello Default_561,
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
May I know if by "only 10% performance" in your description you mean specifically volume, or low overall performance?
If you are using a USB hub (USB-HUB), make sure it is externally powered and connected to a power supply. If you are using an active hub and are still experiencing problems, try disconnecting other USB devices or connecting the sound card directly to a USB port on your computer.
When stability problems occur again, try trying all the USB ports on your computer to find a stable connection.
Also, there are a number of settings in Windows that may affect USB audio performance. I would like to suggest that you try making the following changes.
To change the USB Root Hub power management settings.
- Right-click on the Start button, find and open the Device Manager.
- In the Device Manager, go to "Universal Serial Bus Controllers".
- In the window you will see a number of USB buses, right-click on one of them.
- Click on Properties > Select Power Management and uncheck the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
- Press OK.
- Make sure you repeat this process for each USB root hub in the Device Manager.
To disable USB selective pause.
- Right-click on the Start button.
- Click Search, then type "Edit power plan" in the Windows search box.
- Click on "Change high-quality power settings" and scroll down to "USB settings"
- Click the plus (+) sign next to "USB Selective Suspend Settings" to expand the options.
- Click on Disable.
To disable exclusive mode.
- Right-click on the Start button.
- Click on "Search".
- Type in "Control Panel" and click on it.
- Select Hardware and Sound > Sound and then click on the Playback tab
- Select the sound card device you want to set up from the list of audio devices.
- Click on Properties.
- In the Properties window, go to the High Quality tab and uncheck the Allow applications to have exclusive control over this device option.
- Left-click to select the channel of the sound card device being used and click Properties
- Click OK to apply the settings.
- Return to the Sound window, click on the Recording tab and repeat the above steps.
- When finished, restart your computer for the changes to take effect
Looking forward to hearing from you.
If there is something that is not clear, do not hesitate to let me know.
