Windows 10 Clean Install Restart Loop

I had to do a clean install on my PC after some issues, I was advised it was the best solution so I went for it.

I have a 32GB USB stick with Win10 on it and I plugged it in my PC. The installing process goes on smoothly until the very end when it says Finishing up, it keeps restarting. I deleted all partitions and did a fresh install without any data, but it didn't help.

In BIOS boot setup menu (which was hard to find, HP BIOS boot menu is strange to me) I put USB first in boot priority, but it didn't help. I can't find anything else in there, I have to do some research on that too to get to know where are things located..

If someone can provide a solution for me, I'd be very grateful. I tried many things, none works.

    Hello there, this is Emily.

Just to clarify, this happened after install already gone through, and it was at the page where it counted down to restart, right?

If so, go ahead and remove the flash drive and see if Windows boots.

Otherwise, go to your BIOS boot menu/option and see if you have the Windows boot manager option? Set that as your boot priority and see if it works.

If neither works, can you tell me at what screen it restarts? Right after HP logo, or after Windows logo? Thanks!

Hello, one of the best thing to do with Windows 10 stuck in the reboot loop, is just to insert the installation media. Next is, access the UEFI/BIOS (kindly tap Del, F8, or F1 when the system boots) and search for the boot manager. Select the recovery partition as the primary device, then restart the computer.

Thank you so much! I did as you told and it worked. Who would've thought that something simple as taking out USB would be the problem? Thank you again!
