Hello Noura Almarzooqi
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
Hope you are doing well.
According to the category of/Windows 11/Devices and drivers/published by you, we know that your problem is "The Bluetooth of the stylus did not appear in the device search after purchasing the HP Pavilion X360 convertible 14". If my understanding is wrong, please correct me at any time.
Before finding the real reason of the problem, let's discuss the following situations.
- The current pen does not appear in the Bluetooth devices. Could you please try to confirm whether other Bluetooth devices appear in the Bluetooth device list.
- Please go to Settings > Bluetooth and Other Devices > Devices > Add Devices > Select the first Bluetooth option > Windows will search for Bluetooth devices at this time > Please check whether the pen is detected.
- At the same time, try to connect the pen to other devices and see if this device can appear in the Bluetooth-detected list. If other devices still can't detect this pen, we may need to trace the reason back to the stylus itself.
The following is a general solution for Bluetooth connection in Windows, and check it after each step:
- Press and hold Windows, enter troubleshooting in the search box, lauch it, and then select "other troubleshooting"
- Click bluetooth and run the troubleshooter
- Click Hardware & Devices and run the troubleshooter.
In addition, please try to start troubleshooting the Bluetooth problem according to the following official Microsoft article:
Fix Bluetooth problems in Windows
See the method in the screenshot:
Restart Bluetooth support service.
Windows +R > type services.msc> After the service window opens, find Restart Bluetooth Support Services > right-click Restart. After that, right-click it again, select "Properties", and then make sure the startup type is "Automatic"
The above solution is based on Windows solution for Bluetooth devices, if the incompatibility of the newer version of the driver or the Bluetooth transmission problem of the pen cause these issue, you may need to contact the official support of HP, because I have seen threads with similar problems in the HP community.
