Hey there Ryan!
My name is Miguel Ángel and I'm an independent advisor, also a Microsoft user just like you! I'll try to help you today with your issue.
You should find the recovery key in the Microsoft account that was associated with your device (your log-in user). You should go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey, and there find the recovery keys that you can use to unlock your device. Make sure that you're logged in with the same account that is used in your device!
If you can't find the recovery keys there, and according to what is said in this thread of HP forums (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Boot-and...), there may be very little to do, sadly, since it's a block that is triggered when BIOS has been updated from HP side.
HP recommends exporting the recovery keys before doing any BIOS update to avoid this kind of issues, as said in https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operatin....
I'll wait for your reply! Don't worry, everything will be okay :)
