Thank you for the reply Elise. I did go directly to HP support and unfortunately they don't provide support for my computer on the Windows 11 OS. Since I am out of the timeframe to rollback to Windows 10 it seems like my touchscreen is lost.
Touchscreen driver has disappeared from Device Manager
I have a HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-cn0xxx, this laptop is specifically a touchscreen/tablet. I've updated to windows 11 and the touch screen function has completely disappeared from my device. It even says touch screen not enabled on my about this device. This doesn't make much sense since it worked perfectly until I updated windows 11 OS. The HID-compliant touch screen driver has completely disappeared in the device manager and when I search for the driver for my computer on the Microsoft website nothing comes up. I've tried completely reformatting my computer, I've tried updating my BIOS, I constantly check for updates, I've tried running the troubleshooting program a number of times and nothing has been able to bring back my touchscreen. Is there any other solutions to fix my device??

2022-10-26T20:24:05+00:00 Hi, I'm Elise, and I'd be happy to help with your issue.
It is very likely that the touchscreen driver isn't compatible with Windows 11. You can usually download updated drivers from the HP support website, this should resolve the issue.
Kind Regards,
Elise

2022-11-01T22:19:30+00:00 No, the information I found on HP recommended you go directly to the manufacturer of the driver to download if they didn't have it on their site....I doesn't look like intel designed the touch driver so I'm not sure where else to look.

2022-10-27T11:31:19+00:00 I have the same issue, same computer (ELAN EzTouchFilter Driver). I bought it used with Win 11. I downgraded to Win 10 to see if that solves the problem. Now I don't have a touchscreen, AND when I try and go back to Win 11 it says my laptop isn't compatible. Wow. LOL. Way to go Microsoft.
