Is there a way to be able to sign into my windows 11 pc using an xbox controller?

I have built a computer mainly for gaming and I mostly use my Xbox elite controller to play them, however, when I use my PC in a living room using the mouse to unlock the computer isn't very intuitive is there a program I can use to be able to log in using my Xbox elite controller without completely disabling the lock screen outright?

Thanks,

EpicGamenator

Just a quick update on the sign in that I noticed. For all I know you figured it out already. At least Windows 22h2 (not sure about earlier) has a setting at Accounts > Sign in options > "if you've been away when should Windows require sign in again" and setting that to never skips the sign in as well.

I don't think they had that until sometime more recently. But, then maybe I never noticed it lol.

Actually, that did disable the lockscreen as well. So its easier still :)

Unfortunately that is the limitation and as I have mentioned is that there is no direct outright way in doing this and I would also suggest to send a feedback via the Feedback Hub by pressing Windows key + F and hopefully this feature will be available in the future specifically on the Xbox controllers.

    Hi Paul R.

I have tried both of the programs, including putting them in the startup folder however the programs won't respond until I enter my password on the login screen, Is there a way to make the programs run on the login screen?

Good day EpicGamer! I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. There is no direct outright way in doing this at the time being and as far as the interaction goes with the Xbox controller to the PC is that you can only utilize it as a mouse by using an application Gopher360 and you can also check out the link below for reference but apart from that I would suggest to check out and try Unified Remote in which it is available in IOS and Android and from there you can unlock your PC with the use of your smartphone instead.
