When I do this on the pc that is supposed to connect to the hotspot it says no connection but its connected

I'm trying to share wifi network from a windows 11 laptop to a windows 10 pc but I don't know how I could go about that

You can share your internet connection by enabling the mobile hotspot in the network settings.
1-Click on Start then click on Settings
2-Click on Network & Internet
3-Then click on Mobile Hotspot
4-Here you can enable the Mobile Hotspot and change the network name and password.
5-Then this network name will be shown in the available networks on the other computer

what is the exact model of the WiFi adapter installed on the Windows 10 PC? If you don't know, go to Device Manager, expand network adapters, post the screenshot.

2022-10-26T21:00:26+00:00 This error could be shown if you are sharing the wrong internet connection or the computer is not getting the correct IP.
Solution 1: Check if you are sharing the correct internet connection
1-Click on Start then click on Settings
2-Click on Network & Internet
3-Then click on Mobile Hotspot
4-Check the option "Share my internet connection from", if it's available try to select another network interface and check if the problem is fixed.
Solution 2: Reset the network settings from both computers
1-Click on Start then click on Settings
2-Click on Network & Internet
3-Scroll down and select Network Reset (Windows 10). Click on Advanced network settings > Network Reset (Windows 11)
4-Then click on Reset Now
