Windows 11 22H2 update failed - error 0x8007000d

The pc added an icon to upgrade to 22H2, so I decided to try the update.

It went through the entire install process, then after 2 or 3 reboots it came up with a message saying "Undoing changes to your machine" or something like that.

In the end, it's still asking to upgrade to 22h2 and says "We couldn't install this update, but you can try again. (0x8007000d)

There's no further info about what the problem with the update was and why it failed.

Any suggestions?

Are you kidding? Why should I have to do any of that? You (Microsoft) are pushing the update. It should just work. If it doesn't work. (It doesn't.) Take it off the update schedule. It took longer for this nonsense to attempt to install and then uninstall than the whole process of loading Windows 11 Pro onto my new computer. Please go into your office, close the door and slap yourself.

I also have the same issue. Update failed and now it won't even download. It's stuck on 0%.

I hope Microsoft will be looking at this issue. Expecting users to jump through hoops just to be able to update their devices is ridiculous.

    I got the same error.
After trying to install I got the "Undoing changes made to y our computer".
My PC rebooted twice and now Windows update is displaying the error 0x8007000d.

Prior to the update I updated Geforce Experience to the latest beta version as there was a known issue.

I'm going to wait a few days and try this again. From what i can tell, there's been reports of this update causing problems for people.
