Good day! I'm Raniel. I understand your frustration regarding this issue and I'll do my best to help.

Just to clarify, did you make any changes to your machine before encountering this issue(like installing third party apps, recent updates, etc..)? Do you also encounter the issue when you access your account via safe mode?. Please see the steps under "From the sign-in screen": https://support.microsoft.com/help/12376/window...

Once in safe mode, kindly reinstall your mouse driver:

    1. Click on Start and search for "Device Manager" > open it.
    2. Click on the arrow beside "Mice and other pointing devices" to expand it
    3. Right click on "HID-compliant mouse" and select "Uninstall device". Tick the Delete the driver software for this device check box > select Uninstall
    4. Perform a clean boot: https://support.microsoft.com/help/929135/how-t..., unplug your mouse and plug it to a different USB port then go to Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates to ensure that your machine doesn't have any pending security patches.
    5. Go back to the Device Manager > Click on the Action tab > select "Scan for hardware changes", and check if it will scan and reinstall your mouse driver.

Note: Temporarily disable your antivirus, then monitor again.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

    Hi danial,

Apologies if the suggested methods didn't work for you. Since the issue persist, kindly perform a repair install of your Windows which fixes the broken system files on your machine. Here is a guide which includes a video: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

There should be no worries in performing it since you will select the option to keep your files during the process.

Please let me know how it goes. Thank you.
