I have turned off the system restore scanned with malware bytes and found nothing with the anti-virus program Total AV and found nothing. I have also did a micro soft defender scan offline. then did a recan and its still there what can I do to get rid of it and is this a real trojan as two other programs don't find it all at when a scan is performed.

Hi George, you shouldn't have to run another scan.

Can you go to your Windows Security, and click on Virus & Threat Protection, and choose Protection History.. see if the threats are still listed there for you to take action.

I see. Thank you for this additional information. In this case, you will need to perform the remove action in Safe Mode.

Instead of restarting the computer like you usually do, hold down the Shift key while you choose the restart option, this should pull up the WinRe menu. Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings. Click on Restart, then choose Option 4 to get into Safe mode. Then try to see if you can delete it.

    Hello there. This is Emily.

If Windows Defender found it, does it give you the option to take action. If so, you can choose what to do about it. If that option is not given, it means it already took care of it for you.

You can reference this method from this post to remove the detection
